Guideline for designers
File preparation
All files should be in TIFF, PSD, EPS or JPEG (maximum quality) format…, other options are excluded.
The color must be CMYK or GRAYSCALE, depends if you want black & white printing.
RGB and LAB colors should be avoided.
All layers should be merged in one background.
The channels should be in CMYK, without extra channels.
The files must be in real (precise) dimensions – ratio 1:1 – NO scaled files.
The files must be in one piece – not separated in colors. (EXEPT MEGAPOSITIONS where the ration can be 1:10)
TIFF and PSD must be saved with LZV compression.
Depending on the size of the file, the resolution can be between 30 dpi (for billboards, large banners and megalights) and 200 dpi for high resolution photo quality. Standard resolution should be from 100 dpi to 150 dpi.
Do not merge different files in one. They should be saved separately.
Preparation of files for cutting
The files should be in AI (Adobe Illustrator CS4 and up) format. The pictures must be integrated in the file (not linked). (For photo settings and quality check above in FILE PREPARATION).
The files must be in real (precise) dimensions – ratio 1:1 – NO scaled files.
The contour for cutting should be curve without FILL, with stroke weight of 1 pt in color which is not in use in other shapes in the file. The curve for cutting should be in different layer named “CUT”.
Please leave 3-5 mm offset curve from the original cutting curve.
If there are CREASE lines, they should be in different color than the one used for the CUT curve, and should not be used on other place in the file. Add these lines in separated layer named “CREASE”.
